Reflection 11/3/2016

This week we did our last filming video on the disappearing act and have started computer coding. For coding we did a game, in the game you had to drag the move forward block(or turn left or right etc) into a special place and then hit run, then the character will follow that command.I am looking forward to it next week.In writing we worked with  a buddy and got given a sheet with printed paragraphs (and subtitles etc) on it, then we got given a bank piece of paper, we had to cut out the paragraphs and subtitles and rearrange them on the paper then glue them on.In maths we did tree diagrams, here is a picture of mine, this shows the options you could make in paper, scissors, rock, and the things you could win if you were the person on the left.We started designing a bridge, but first we started looking at bridge types I enjoyed doing this. Here is a quote that inspires me:

The disappearing act 2

I am in a group with Marnie, Levi and Jack heres our second video:

My fair inquiry reflection

For our inquiry this term, we had to work together to create our fair stall. The focus was how well we worked together with others.

On the night of the fair, my stall made a total profit of $400.50c I think it went well because we all came at the right time and worked efficiently. We also put the hoops in a good place so not everyone got something but they wanted to come back and have another go.We also got donated a lot of toys.

Below are my reflections and self-assessment of how I think I did...

Daily Group Work Reflections for our Fair Project

Reflection (What went well today? What do I need to do better? What do we need to focus on tomorrow? How could my team work more effectively together next time?):  We got most of the planning done but we did not work as a team much and some people got distracted. We didn't all have much of a say and some of us worked more individually.

Ally

                                   Ally

Her curly blonde hair overflows on her face as she pirouettes around the room, but you can still see a glimpse of her gleaming eyes. Her shining new pointe shoes prance around the room as she leaps and twirls. Her black leotard shows off her pale skin as she dances and prances throughout the hall. Her warm smile makes everybody feel welcome and her competitors feel like her friends.

Reflection 4/3/2016

This week we worked on our fair stalls, I'm in the Toy Toss group we finished ours signs, got all the toys cleaned and tried out the game. For writing I really enjoyed writing outside it helped me because I was right beside the object I was writing about. In maths we did rotations, I enjoyed doing these rotations because we moved around and it was new to me, we had little activities based on probability. Here is a quote that inspires me:
